A598 Introduction to Programming II

Prerequisite(s): CSCI-A 597, A 201, A 504, or A 304.

Advanced programming techniques: user-defined functions and types, recursion versus iteration, parameter-passing mechanisms. Classic abstract data types and algorithms. Programming style. Object-oriented programming. Credit not given for both CSCI-A 598 and A 202. Not intended for computer science majors.
