Biography

As the Director of Strategic Initiatives & Entrepreneurship, Dr. Brown works closely with the dean to develop and manage partnerships and programs deemed important to bringing the strategic vision set for the SoIC to fruition. In addition, to teaching Design Strategy, Strategic Design, Technology Entrepreneurship, and Technology Innovation, he directs the Innovation & Entrepreneurship program for the school. He is the faculty advisor for the Informatics & Computing Entrepreneurs (ICE), the Shoemaker Scholars, and the Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization (CEO).  Prior to returning to Indiana University to pursue his doctoral degree, Dr. Brown spent his career in business, focusing on performance management, entrepreneurship, corporate innovation, business analytics, and interaction design in corporate and small business settings.
