Dr. Lamara D. Warren has over 18 years of eclectic experience in higher education and student affairs as a practitioner-scholar in the areas of enrollment management, Greek life, student affairs, multicultural affairs, and residential life.
Currently, Dr. Warren offers valuable experience as the Assistant Dean for Multicultural Affairs and Diversity where her primary responsibilities include providing expert guidance to the school on areas of diversity and inclusivity innovation and success; providing full operational management of the school’s Diversity and Inclusivity Innovation and Success programs; setting policies for the school in areas of Diversity and Inclusivity Innovation and Success; and interacting with large populations of students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community partners. Additionally, Dr. Warren coordinates undergraduate research and summer research opportunities in computing as well as advises affinity student groups in the school.
Dr. Warren has extensive experience as a diversity and inclusion educator and consultant as well as an educational success consultant which has afforded opportunities to facilitate authentic dialogue about diversity and inclusion as well as provide assistance in the educational areas of college preparation and planning, college application process, and student success. Dr. Warren is the co-author of The Game of Oppression, an innovative and interactive diversity tool designed to foster inclusive conversations about issues of difference and inequality.
