Accelerated Master of Science in Information Systems

We live in a digital world, and businesses are changing fast. Traditional industries are focused on digital strategies, but they need people with the skills to implement the plans of tomorrow.

The Accelerated Master of Science in Information Systems program, a partnership between the School of Informatics and Computing and the Kelley School of Business, is designed to give focused and motivated individuals the opportunity to bridge the gap between undergraduate education and workplace expectations.

Students can earn an MS in Information Systems in as little as two semesters, and they typically begin their careers with a higher starting salary and rapid upward mobility, allowing them to move into leadership roles more quickly.

MSIS program graduates have found careers with Accenture, PwC Deloitte, EY, KPMG, Whirlpool and many other high-profile companies. Digital business jobs are growing exponentially, and demand for technologically savvy business graduates has never been higher.

Students pursuing a B.S. in Informatics may apply to the program at any time, from freshman year (for direct admits) to after graduation, and they must complete the pre-MSIS Business cognate listed below. Seniors may enroll in the summer MSIS JumpStart program after graduation that will allow them to complete all the prerequisites in just three months.
