Biography

I was born in Rome (Italy) in 1978. I got a M.Sc. in Physics at University of Rome “Tor Vergata” in 2003 and a Ph.D. in Physics at Jacobs University Bremen (Germany) in 2007. I have been a Research Scientist at ISI Foundation in Turin (Italy) in 2007-2010, a postdoctoral fellow in the Amaral Laboratory at Northwestern University in 2010-2011, and a Ramon y Cajal senior researcher at the University "Rovira i Virgili" in Tarragona (Spain) in 2012-2013. My research activity deals with the application of methods and tools of statistical physics to the study of complex systems and networks.
