October: Archives and Special Collections Month

October 2006 will be the inaugural Archives & Special Collections Month at IU Bloomington. Revealing Our Past will be a "monthlong celebration of our shared history revealed through archives and special collections." IU Libraries has partnered with local Bloomington organizations to present an exciting series of talks and exhibits to be held throughout the month. [Source: IU Libraries website]

The celebration is part of a nationwide observance – American Archives Month – developed by Council of State Archivists and Society of American Archivists.
