** The GRE is required for all M.S. in Data Science degree programs, however, applicants who have completed another graduate degree and/or have relevant work experience can apply to waive this requirement. To apply for the waiver, please submit the Data Science GRE Waiver Request Form with your resume/CV and transcript(s) to the Data Science Graduate Office via email at You will receive an email from our program in 2-3 business days in regards to your request. Our School code is 1324.

You can also start your application for the M.S. in Data Science program or wait until you receive a waiver from us.  If you have already submitted your application with your resume and transcript, please indicate this in the Section 4 of this request form.

You do not have to pay for the application until you submit it.

*** Credit and complete time: each course is 3 credit. So for a 30 credit degree, there are 10 courses. Normally it could be 3 per semesters with 1 semester as an internship so the complete time ~1.5 years

For international students: All residential part requires valid Visa. Residential M.S. can apply CPT and OPT. Hybrid M.S. can apply OPT.
