Computer Networks

Computer networking underlies today's mobile devices, home networks and the Internet.  The size and scale of the Internet are testimony to well designed networking protocols that have scaled beyond anyone's imagination.  Today advancements in computer networking both challenge and build off the strong foundations.

At Indiana University, research focuses on measuring internet traffic, on monitoring experimental networks such as PlanetLab, on security and privacy in peer-to-peer networks, and Internet cybercrime.
