Name an Auditorium Chair

The flagship 160 seat auditorium in Luddy Hall is designed for collaboration using stunning technology. As a young school with a rich history, our students should know that alumni have their back.

For $1,000, with flexible payment plans of up to five years, you can name a seat in our auditorium. Donors will be recognized with a nameplate honoring you or your chosen honoree.

  • When will Luddy Hall and the auditorium be complete?

    The building is scheduled to open for classes before the spring 2018 semester.

  • What can I include on the nameplate?

    Whatever you would like (within reason)! We recommend including your formal name, degree, and class year (Jordan Garcia, MS '99) or honoring a favorite professor/staff member. This is also a great opportunity to pay tribute to a loved one and engrave a nameplate to read "In memory of..." Our development staff will work with you to ensure the nameplate fulfills your wishes.

  • Will I be informed the location of my chair?

    Yes! Later in the construction project, we will be sure to let you know where your chair and nameplate is located in the auditorium.

  • What classes will be held in the auditorium?

    The space will be utilized by our programs of our School - computer science, informatics, information science, intelligent systems engineering, and library science. The exact class schedule has yet to be determined. However, it is a space for all.

  • What are the payment plans?

    We have flexible payment plans that work with your philanthropic budget. The total cost per chair is $1,000 and is payable in installments over five years.     Automatic Monthly Gift (Charged to Credit Card): $16.67 for 60 Months/5 Years

    Yearly Gift: $200 each year for 5 Years

    One-Time Installment: $1,000 Payable Now

  • When do I have to decide?

    This exciting opportunity is limited to 160 chairs on a first-come, first-served basis. Establish your pledge early to be sure you have a seat in the room!
