Forty-two women from the School of Informatics and Computing attended the 2012 Indiana Women in Computing Conference, held at McCormick’s Creek State Park. A total of 150 faculty, student, and corporate colleagues participated in networking events, poster sessions, lightning talks, keynote addresses, career related events, and panels on such topics as Imposter Syndrome. Congratulations to research poster winner Shirin Nilizadeh, SOIC PhD student in Informatics, who received a full scholarship to attend the 2012 Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing Conference.
